Waste To Wonder Theme Park In New Delhi

Waste To Wonder park is a theme park and a part of the project Waste To Art taken up by South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC).

It was Built up with the purpose of reducing tones of metal and rubber waste which was taking un neccessary space. Its makers came up with the interesting idea to reduce the waste and to boost the travel and tourism sector.



Location : Sarai Kale Khan, near ISBT, New Delhi 


Nearest Metro : Nizammudin Metro Station (pink line)


Ticket Prices : Children 3-18 years: 25rs (50rs on sunday)


Adults(18 years & above): INR 50rs (100rs on sunday)

                                        

65+ years : free


Opening time : 11Am

Closing time  : 11pm + closed on monday And other National holidays.

1.  The Eiffel Tower 

The Eiffel Tower at waste to wonder is 70 feet tall & it is built up from about 40 tonnes of waste containing automobiles. Even if it's made up of waste material it's very beautiful you will get the feel of paris in delhi.

2. Taj Mahal

The Symbol of Love, Pride of our of our beloved country india. One of the seven wonders of the world. The Replica of Taj Mahal is just amazing there are mini fountains and streams which will give you the feel of real Taj mahal in delhi.

3. Statue of Liberty 

The Statue of liberty the statue i can swear many of us might have dreamed of visiting New york to see the statue of liberty, And your dream can be changed in to reality with this statue of liberty in delhi. You will be surprised to know that it is made up of waste parts of two wheelers, metal railings and old pipes.

4. Pyramid Of Giza

The Pyramid of Giza is one of the seven wonders in the world, it is the oldest and largest pyramid of Giza. The relica of this is made up of scrap metal pipes.

5. Colosseum of Rome

The colosseum of rome is one the seven wonders which is located in the centre of the rome city. It is the largest amphitheatre in the world ever built. This was a Gift to the ancient Roman citizens. And you can see this very beautiful colosseum in delhi's waste to wonder theme park.  And this replica is made up of 410 wheels of car and it lights up at night with the help of stored solar energy.

6. Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Leaning Tower of pisa was actually the result of man-made miscalculation during settling of the building's foundation. And making the replica of this tower was really a difficult job for the artists.

7. The Redeemer of Brazil

It's the symbol of christianity, this statue is located in the Brazil. It's Cultural icon of the country Brazil. The statue of Almighty Redeemer at delhi's theme park is made up of disposed-off bike chains and Park benches.
